Miniver Theatre was founded by writer and director Megan Young and producer Andrei Cotocu after graduating from Queen Mary University of London in 2019 through their desire to continue making thought-provoking, dramatic work.

Although currently based in London, the two founders have been shaped by their upbringing – coming from Sheffield and Bucharest, respectively – and their very different backgrounds. Their distinct creative identities and unlikely pairing has fashioned Miniver into an exciting, emerging theatre company.

After a two-week run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with their play At This Stage – attracting large audiences every performance – they went on to tour the south of England in 2019.
